Summer is racing to a close which means the holiday season is not too far down the road.
     The Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest's annual holiday show is set for Sunday, December 7, at the Miller Center for the Arts on the Reading Area Community College campus.
     "A Peter White Christmas featuring Rick Braun and Mindi Abair" is back again for two shows -- 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. -- at the downtown theater.
     Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 9, at 10 a.m. CD Exchange is the official box office for the concerts.
     The all-star lineup will be performing dazzling arrangements of holiday favorites.
     As a stellar performer, White has kept contemporary fans worldwide enthralled by his spirited melodies, soulful grooves and inviting, instantly recognizable acoustic guitar tone.
     Always finding unique ways to bring his modern sensibilities to cherished pop classics, his seasonal renditions are sure to captivate.

     The special Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest "25" Concert Series continues its run at Building 24 Live in Reading.
     Building 24 Live and the Berks Arts Council are collaborating to
present the concert series that will http://www.berksjazzfest.com/Bldg24LiveLogoSm_1-13A.jpgbe part of the year-long celebration leading up to the 25th anniversary festival set for April 10-19, 2015.
     Up next is Raul Midón, who will headline on Saturday, September 13, at Building 24 Live.
     Singer-songwriter and guitarist Midón has earned renown as one of music's most distinctive and searching voices. He is "a one-man band who turns a guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus," according to The New York Times.
     Midón has collaborated with such heroes as Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder, along with contributing to recordings by Jason Mraz, Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg and the soundtrack to Spike Lee's She Hate Me. The New Mexico native, blind since birth, has released seven albums since 1999, including his recent release Don't Hesitate.

     Festival photographer/videographer Andrew Lepley created "Video Reports" on all the major concerts presented during the Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest.
     The video reports featured an overview of the concert. They were posted daily on the Berks Jazz Fest Facebook page and were viewed by thousands of fans.
     The response was amazing.
