PETER WHITE & VINCENT INGALA with special guest MINDI ABAIR
DoubleTree by Hilton Reading Grand Ballroom
Tickets: $59 (Reserved Seating)

Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest audiences have enjoyed the music of English musician Peter White since 1994, not only during many festivals, but as part of many Christmas seasons when he has made Berks a stop on his annual Christmas tours.

White, who plays guitar, piano, accordion and harmonica, has 16 recordings to his name, the latest of which is “Music for STARLUX Airlines” (2019).

White will appear on opening night of Jazz Fest (April 1) in the DoubleTree by Hilton Reading with longtime partner Vincent Ingala and special guest Mindi Abair.

Ingala, whose charismatic saxophone playing is only the tip of the iceberg of instruments he can play, has recently released his seventh album, “Fire & Desire,” on which he plays every instrument on all nine original compositions and his arrangement of “Disco Sax.” Enough said!

Saxophonist Abair, another festival favorite, is known for her electrifying performances on her many tours and Grammy-nominated albums, and leads the blues award-winning Boneshakers.
